We should recognize ourselves in Oster. We're both in the same cell block. Oster merely did what was required of her to survive. She betrayed her humanity, fell into lockstep with the "Party line", and denounced her fellow citizens to stay alive.
This wounded reality we inhabit requires a surgery we may not survive.
